Is it true that congestion charging
is enforced in the UK?:
Congestion charging in London, England and other
cities in the UK has now become common practice. Please take
the advice from the car rental location, and observe road
signs etc. when entering a congestion charging area. You are
responsible for paying such charges, not the car rental company.
It is in your best interests to pre-pay any congestion charge
wherever possible, this will help you save money should you
forget to pay the daily charge, typically £8.00-£10.00.
The fine for non-payment can be as much as £100.00 plus
administration costs.
